Dubai region

Jumeirah is one of the most expensive residential areas in Dubai. Even 30-40 years ago, only a few dozen local fishermen with their families, foreign workers and small traders lived here.

Jumeirah

Currently, this area is built up with villas, large supermarkets, tourist infrastructure. In recent years, luxury skyscraper hotels have been erected near the beaches, including the world famous J Al Arab and the wave-like Jumeirah Beach Hotel. The Wild Wadi Water Park and the Madinat Jumeirah shopping, hotel and business center are located nearby. There are also separate private land holdings with villas and private harbors on the shores of the Persian (Arab) Gulf. In 2001-2008, in front of the coast of Jumeirah, the first artificial island, Palm Jumeirah, was created from the group of Palm Islands. On the western border of the Jumeirah district is the Dubai Marina skyscraper quarter and a chain of high-rise buildings - the Jumeirah Lake Towers. In the message is the Jumeirah station of the red Dubai Metro.
