Developer Kleindienst Group has announced the start of work on its project for the world's first five-star underwater resort, The Floating Venice, which is launching on an artificial archipelago off the coast of Dubai.
Shaped like Italy's famous Piazza San Marco, The Floating Venice will feature 414 private rooms spread over four levels. 180 of them, as well as the world's first floating underwater spa and gym, several shops and restaurants will be underwater. The windows offer unique views of coral reefs.
According to the Kleindienst Group, the archipelago project The Heart of Europe has attracted a lot of attention from investors. The first phase of the project, which includes properties on the artificial islands of Sweden, Germany and St. Petersburg, as well as 80 Floating Seahorse Villas, has been completely sold out. These transactions brought the developer $US 18.8 million.
